Quality Rural Solutions (QRS) is a training and advisory service that provides friendly and informative assistance to rural communities in the South-East region of NSW. Our experienced staff, well known for their innovative programs, have extensive experience in the rural vocational training sector. They present a range of short courses designed to provide a sound knowledge base for small area producers as well as industry-based courses for commercial producers.
All of our trainers have recognised training qualifications and are experienced instructors, with a practical approach to farm management. The trainers include agricultural scientists, agronomists, veterinarians, and commercial graziers. QRS is committed to providing excellent, highly relevant training, in order to enhance farm productivity and manage natural resources sustainably.
QRS aims to present an extensive program of workshops including:
- Introduction to rural lifestyle skills
- Pasture and livestock management
- Natural resource management
In addition to training activities, Quality Rural Solutions:
- develops customised Training Activities for government agencies and private contractors
- develops training materials for workshops,for example NSW Dept. Primary Industries StockPlanR project.
Our trainers are pleased to bring these services to you. We deliver courses to rural communities throughout the South-East region of NSW at a time convenient to you, using your local facilities as training venues.
QRS has a partnership arrangement with CB Alexander Agricultural College, Tocal, NSW. Under this partnership arrangement, as defined by the Australian Quality Training Framework in the Standards, QRS provides accredited training courses, delivered under the auspices of the CB Alexander Agricultural College, Tocal as the registered training provider. QRS complies with the AQTF standards and is audited on a regular basis.
